This saw appeared on eBay in January, 2015. Unfortunately, I didn't make a note on sale price but I know it was high and beyond my pay grade.

Medallion is the obvious item that pops in everybody's eye right away. I have never seen medallion like this, neither anybody I know in this business.

The handle is also one of a kind and I am tempted to say that this is one of these handles made by hand in his shop.

The blade is 26-1/2 inch long. Nib is present and it looks like it has been hand-filed. The teeth are filed crosscut with rather shallow set.

Enjoy the pictures!

This is a full stamp on the blade. There is a lot of information here.
Unfortunately, some of the text is unreadable from these photos.

At the top there are three eagles.

Different view - just two of these eagles. In this view it is easier to
see beautifully formed and actually very crisp stamps.

Next is word "EXTRA".
It appears to have at least two letters - "R" and "A" over-stamped.

"HENRY DISSTON"
