Here's one of Disston's finest offerings in their long production line.

I'm sure most of you have heard of the legendary No.12 already and the quality that Disston built into them.  If you haven't, you're in for a treat with this 1910 era saw.

This finer 6ppi rip saw will sing through wood with ease.

As usual with most of the No.12's, this blade rings nicely when struck with you knuckle.  The fantastic tension and temper in the spring steel causes this.

The polished blade is stiff & straight with a light crowning breast to the cutting edge.  Hand filed with a 4 degree rake, minimal set and a light side dressing will make this your fine finish, go-to rip saw.
